The micro catheter is used for the infusion of contrast media, medicine or embolic material into coronary vasculatures, also for providing support to the placement of guide wires or guide wire exchange.
Product Structure
The catheter consists of catheter, HUB, protect sheath, developing ring, and sterilized by EO.
Materials include Pebax, Eurelon,304V Stainless steel, PTFE coating, Platinoiridium, TPU, PC, Platinoiridium, & Hydrophilic coating, etc.
Application
The catheter is used to inject diagnostic agents (such as contrast agents), therapeutic agents (such as pharmaceutical preparations, embolic materials), and support appropriate guidewire into the peripheral vasculature.
Technical Characteristics
1.Excellent radiopaque------closed-loop platinum/iridum marker band embeded to ensure smooth transition
2.PTFE inner layer designed to provide superb pushability when supporting for device advancement
3.Higher density stainless steel braid structure throughout the catheter shaft, providing enhanced tensile strength for increased crossability
4.Hydrophilic coating and long taper design from proximal to distal: 2.8 Fr ~ 3.0 Fr for narrow lesion crossability
Instruction for Use
1. Take out the product from package.
2.Choose compatible guidewire with this Micro catheter.
3.Use Heparin saline to clean Micro catheter through Protect hoop and make sure the surface of the product is fully lubricated.
4.Insert guidewire into micro catheter.
5.Insert guidewire and micro catheter slowly into lesion location through Y-connector or sheath.
6.After micro catheter attaining the needed position, take diagnostic or therapeutic measures needed subsequently; Release hemostasis valve and withdraw micro catheter slowly from vessel.
